Notice is hereby given that the Cranberry Township Board of Supervisors, Butler County, 2525 Rochester Road, Suite 400, Cranberry Township, PA 16066-6499, will accept sealed bids for the following contract:

Contract No. 21-02 - Brush Creek Water Pollution Control Facility - Disposal of Bio-Solids, Grit and Screening

Provide hauling and disposal of dewatered Bio-Solids, Grit and Screening generated at the Brush Creek Water Pollution Control Facility, as more clearly specified in the Contract Documents.  

Bidding documents are available at no cost on PennBid www.pennbid.net  Proposal shall be submitted upon forms provided by the Township.

Bids will be received electronically via the PennBid Program until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at which time the bids will be opened, with the results made available on PennBid.

Questions regarding this bid shall be submitted via the “Clarifications” feature within PennBid.

All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of One-Thousand Dollars ($1,000) payable to Cranberry Township.

The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Township.

INVITATION TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that the Cranberry Township Board of Supervisors, Butler County, 2525 Rochester Road, Suite 400, Cranberry Township, PA 16066-6499, will accept sealed bids for the following contract:

Contract No. 21-03 - Superpave Street Resurfacing 2021

This Contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and work required to complete the paving work, as more clearly specified in the Contract Documents.  The following are estimated quantities:  

    1 LS - Traffic Control
    3,100 Tons – Superpave Leveling Course
    3,800 Tons – Superpave Wearing Course
    300 Tons – Superpave Binder
    300 SY – Full Width Milling, 2 to 4-inch depth
    68,440 SY – Full Width Milling, 1.75-inch depth
    1,000 LF – Line Painting
    12 LF – Stop Bar

Bidders must also provide evidence of PENNDOT prequalification in all aspects of the work.        

Invitation, preparation, submittals, bidding requirements, all materials furnished, and all work performed shall conform to the current specifications of PENNDOT Form 408, current edition and specified bulletins. 

Bidders must comply with all State anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project and will be required to submit an executed anti-collusion statement with the bid. 

All bids shall remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of the opening in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved November 26, 1978.

The estimated cost of this Project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and Public Work Employment Verification shall apply. Bidders should refer to provisions of federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and preservation of public natural resources that affect the project, said provisions being pursuant to Act No. 247 of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved October 26, 1972.

This Contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and work required to complete the paving work, as more clearly specified in the Contract Documents.  The following are estimated quantities:  

• 1 L.S. - Traffic Control 
• 79,600 S.Y. - Bituminous Single Seal Coat 
• 110,200 L.F. - 4-inch Line Painting (including double yellow & two white edge lines) 
• 124 L.F. - Stop Bar 
• MISC. - Legends, Symbols, Crosswalks

Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools and transportation required to complete 129,760 lineal feet of Crack Sealing and incidental work on various roadways, as more clearly specified in the Contract Documents.
