A Request for Proposals for Towing Services
was issued, reviewed and approved
Members of the public are invited to review the details. RFP for Towing
Cranberry Township regularly issues this Request For Proposal (RFP) to solicit proposals to be an authorized tow service for Cranberry Township. The Township routinely must arrange for the removal of disabled or abandoned vehicles and the safe storage of these vehicles until they are claimed by their owners. Authorized tow services provide on-call towing and storage of impounded private vehicles or towing, and clean-up of vehicles involved in a crash within the Township.
The Township authorizes one or more providers for these services and seeks the most cost-effective solution based on the criteria contained in this RFP.
A Message from the Chief
On behalf of the men and women of our department, I welcome you to the official Cranberry Township Police Department website. We appreciate your interest and thank you for visiting. We hope you find the information provided helpful.
The primary goal of the Cranberry Township Police Department is to continue to make Cranberry Township a safe and secure community for everyone that lives, works, or visits the area.
We have been proudly protecting and serving the community since 1956. From modest beginnings, the Department has grown to include 31 full-time police officers, including a Chief of Police and three Lieutenants who oversee the Investigations, Support Services, and Operations Divisions. The Patrol Services Unit is comprised of four Patrol Sergeants and 19 Patrol Officers. The Detective Unit is comprised of two Detectives and one officer assigned to the Pennsylvania State Police Auto Theft Task Force.
We also have an outstanding clerical staff who are ready to assist you when you call or visit the department.
