Starting January 11, adults ages 18 and over can register online for the Adult Winter Reading Challenge. Earn badges by logging how many minutes you read, and by writing reviews of books you finish, between January 11 and March 5. Badges earn you virtual tickets that can be put towards a chance to win one of two grand prizes at the end of the challenge!
Submissions will be accepted beginning February 1. Open to all ages, media and abilities. Art should be suitable for a family show and reflect the theme of “using creativity to inspire hope.”
Email a photo in .jpeg or .png format, with “Art Show Submission” in the subject line to email@example.com. Include name, phone number and age group in the body of the email. Age groups include children (birth -12), teen (13-18), and adult (18+).
Submit by Sun, February 28, 2021. The digital art show will be posted on the library’s Facebook page @CranberryPublicLibrary on Tues. March 23, 2021.
We've modified our craft program for adults ages 18 and over. Due to COVID-19 increases, Adults Crafter Dark will now be a Take and Make kit for you to pick up and complete at home. You can stop by and pick up an adult craft kit from the Grab and Go table to take home and complete. While supplies last, no registration needed.
