Cranberry’s Transportation Impact Fee Program was a trendsetter when introduced several decades ago.
The program that compels developers to pay for their impact on the community’s infrastructure will go under the microscope after the Board of Supervisors approved an update to the plan.
During the December 7 meeting, the Board approved a contract with Herbert Rowland & Grubic Inc. to complete the update. It will be the first full update to the long-range transportation plan and impact fee program in 10 years.
The Program was last updated in 2021. However, this update only pertained to revising the current projects list and associated project costs. The 2024 update will re-analyze the long-range transportation needs of the Township.
