The holiday season is full of traditions, many of which have rich backstories.
The Cranberry Township Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Advisory (IDEA) Team wants to hear those stories while enjoying a sweet – or savory – treat.
The group will host Cookies & Conversation from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, December 14 in the Senior Center at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center, 2525 Rochester Road.
Participants are encouraged to bring a holiday snack that has special meaning or importance to their family, friends, or culture. They are encouraged to share the food, the recipe, and the story behind it.
Aimed at creating a free-flowing, relaxed, educational conversation, the event is open to every community member who wishes to share their traditions with others.
