Great projects take a community effort.
When the Great Lawn Municipal Center project was announced earlier this year, Armstrong was quick to step up and pledge funding for naming rights on the Cranberry Township Community Chest’s 2023 Project of the Year.
The Board of Supervisors on September 28 authorized the naming rights and sponsorship agreement for the Great Lawn and recognizing the name as the "Armstrong Great Lawn.”
The project aims to improve connectivity within the commercial core of the Township while also providing additional passive recreation space. It also continues a longstanding goal of environmental conservation and preservation of open, green space.
