Progress continues to be made toward the installation of a traffic signal and other traffic control updates at Route 19 and Progress Avenue.
During the June 1 Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board approved a contract with Traffic Control & Engineering Co. for the project, which includes widening of Progress Avenue, traffic signal installation, and a new turning lane.
The Township previously received $300,000 through the Automated Red Light Enforcement Grant Program and $250,000 via a Multimodal Transportation Fund for the signal.
