A competition sponsored by CBS Radio and Sewickley Motors has included the Cranberry Miracle League as one of four charities eligible to win a major incentive for use in its fundraising efforts. Winners of the prizes – a lease on a new BMW and a trip for two to the Grammy Awards show – will be based on total online votes. Everyone can vote once each day through August 30. To vote, go to the Miracle League website and click on the Sewickley Motors banner at the bottom of the home page. That will take you to sequence of several other screens where you can register and vote.
The Cranberry Township Miracle League field will officially open on May 2, 2009, at Graham Park.
