Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors has reiterated its commitment to the sustainability goals set out in the Township’s 2009 comprehensive plan. In addition, the Board, which approved a resolution reiterating its support for sustainable practices at its March 6 meeting, reaffirmed its participation in Sustainable Pittsburgh’s Sustainable Community Essentials Certification program. Cranberry is currently one of nine communities in western Pennsylvania with Gold Level status in the organization’s recognition program.
